The GenNext Awards Subcommittee will be reviewing nomination submissions and will be contacting all nominees by the end of April. GenNext would like to sincerely thank the community for their recognition of outstanding volunteers between the ages of 20 and 39. Over 30 submissions were received! Winners will be celebrated at United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts’ Annual General Meeting (date to be determined).

If you need your income tax done, please contact Tom at 705-566-6156. The message on the answering machine will tell you where and when the next income tax clinic will be scheduled.
Taxes will be completed on a first come first served basis only. No appointments.

On Monday, April 11 the Sudbury Volunteer Managers Network (SVMN) hosted the kickoff of National Volunteer Week at Pioneer Manor. SUDBURY – United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts was pleased to honour and celebrate 23 Young Leaders on Board graduates on Thursday, March 10. The Young Leaders received certificates for completion of the six month program and were also awarded certificates of congratulations from the City of Greater Sudbury. GenNext, a program of United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts, hosted a third successful Porketta Bingo Fundraiser on Friday, February 5 at the Beef n Bird.
