Networks

Executive Director Learning Circle

The Executive Director Learning Circle (EDLC) is a network of the Leadership Development Program of United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts. It provides facilitated peer support to local non profit Executive Directors. Discussion and training topics that have been covered in the past include: board relations, human resource challenges, change management, organizational sustainability, collaborations/partnerships, stress and burnout, and more.

Manager Learning Circle

The Manager Learning Circle is a focused discussion group of 8-10 managers in the non-profit sector. Through mini-workshops and peer support, the learning circle can harness the wisdom and experience of not-for-profit leaders and support members to overcome isolation, learn with peers, and improve leadership skills. The circle is intended for members who wish to: grow leadership capacity, develop a network of support with other managers, share professional challenges and receive feedback and ideas from others in similar positions, strengthen their relationship with their executive director and staff and explore key issues facing managers and the not-for-profit sector.

If interested in joining a circle, please contact Linda Dupuis, Community Initiatives Manager, by phone: 705-560-3330, Ext. 222 or by email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
